I entered my little puggle, "BELLA" in a local photo contest at one of the cutest doggie stores ever, UPTOWN PAWS...and she is one of the 12 finalists. So we need your vote:) Just go to www.shopuptownpaws.com and hit pet idols and cast your vote from now until September 7th. Thanks so much!

I love when I get repeat families and each year you watch them grow. It's such a blessing and this family is no exception, the kiddos are gorgeous and their new addition fits in just fine. It was pretty hot and humid when we shot these outside the other day and the kiddos did great...mom and I were sweating but, that's beside the point, right! As for the shot with the "little piggies" mom wanted this shot really bad, (you know when you have something in your head) it was a bit of a challenge, but we did it and I really think it's pretty sweet but I always looove photographing all the little parts! Thanks mom for being so relaxed, it truly helps:) I appreciate it!

is the number of appointments left in September and October for Christmas Card sessions. For some of you that is probably the last thing on your mind with the kiddos starting school and practices and stuff...but if you want Christmas Cards you might want to call 316.721.1097 ASAP and get on the books! It'll be here before you know it!!! Kudos to those of you who are on the ball and booked early this season:)

When they came over their mom had a suitcase and a couple other big bags with her...as she walked up I could tell she was embarrassed because she brought sooo much stuff BUT little did she know I LOVED it!!! This shoot was literally almost 3 hours long, I could of shot them all day and trust me I think the kids would of let me:) They were coming up with ideas! How cool was that! Most kiddos seriously are done with pictures in about 30-45 minutes tops but we had so much fun we just kept going. That's one reason why I don't ever have a time limit on my sessions...so we can play. Can't wait for you to see the rest of the images mom!

Working late as usual and wanted to post a sneak peek of this beautiful little guy. He was so content throughout the whole shoot, I've been so lucky lately all of my newborns have been just a few days old and very, very sleepy! Just like me right about now...Goodnight.
I shot this precious little girl yesterday she was 5 days old. Such a perfect, fun shoot! Her parents and grandma came and were so sweet and VERY relaxed (which I think helps as well) they just let me be as creative as I wanted to, can't wait to show you the pictures mom! This is exactly why we always stress we want the newborns preferably under 10 days old, you really can do so much with them the younger they are:) Thank YOU!

She even helped me on some photo shoots! Thank you Jen. Here's a couple of family pics we did...Did I mention her family is just gorgeous I love shooting them! We both sort of have a little shoe problem, check out her sexy shoes!

I love babies! Photographing the new little ones really makes my heart happy! I love the teeny tiny ones because they just sleep and let you do whatever you want... and my creativity can really come out. I'm always trying to thing of new things/places to put the little munchkins on. This lil' one was only 4 days old and boy she was a sweetie!

As I said yesterday my husband went with me to my photography conference last week and the way I bribed him to go was to make a vacation out of it. We flew to Nashville which was so fun! Both he and I love to go to different venues and listen to live music, believe me we saw some talented singers and songwriters one of which I bought his CD and can't put it down, he has such a great voice. We also went to the Grand Ole Opry and saw Jewell, Darrius Rucker and Charlie Daniels just to name a few. If any of you have been to Nashville you know you have to stop by Tootsies, and the Country Music Hall of Fame it was very cool. Here's a couple pics from there...
Although we did not stop there we drove to Franklin TN which was a charming, quaint small town where Keith Urban and Tim McGraw both reside with their beautiful families AND we went to Lynchburg TN to tour the Jack Daniels Distillery (because my husband is a big Jack Daniells fan) which honestly I wasn't to excited about but it ended up being very interesting and i got some great photos.
